Voluntary commitment
As a micro-enterprise service provider, MWCC is under current Austrian law (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, in force since 28 June 2025) most likely not directly obliged. We nevertheless commit voluntarily to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformance level AA.
Conformance status
This website was built from the ground up to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. It is substantially conformant with the four guiding principles: perceivable, operable, understandable, robust.
What we have implemented
- Semantic HTML5 with clearly structured landmark regions
- Visible focus ring on all interactive elements
- Keyboard operability without focus traps
- Meaningful alt text for content images
- Minimum contrast 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and graphical elements
- Minimum body font size 17 px, fluid scaling
- "Skip to content" as the first focusable element
- Language attributes (lang="de"/"en")
- Respect for prefers-reduced-motion
- Form fields with linked labels, error messages with aria-live
- No auto-sliders, no uninvited motion, no modal pop-ups
